Managing Workplace Violence

Behavioral Risk Management®
Overview
- Managing Workplace Violence –Reducing the Risk
Far too often,
there is misunderstanding about what organizations can or should do to
reduce and manage the risk of violence in the workplace. The good news is that
much can be done to reduce the risk. Research
on workplace violence has shown that warning signs and detectable inappropriate
behaviors usually precede acts of violence.
Organizations should train senior management, managers, supervisors and
employees to recognize these danger signals, enabling them to provide
intervention or seek assistance before problems escalate.

assessment consultation services to assist you in determining the level of risk
a threatening person presents to your organization.

of implementing a program.
